The decision on who will be NBA champions won't be made until Sunday. The Indiana Pacers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 108-91 in Game 6 to even the series at 3-3 after back-to-back wins.

The Indiana Pacers rolled over the favored Oklahoma City Thunder in their third home game. After trailing 2:10 early on, the home team from Indianapolis pulled away to 64:42 in the first half. The maximum lead was 31 points (93:62). It was only in the final period, when the second guards played on both sides, that Oklahoma was able to make amends.

Tyrese Haliburton (14 points), who had missed the last game due to a calf injury and was only declared fit at the last moment, played for the Pacers.

The NBA Finals will be the first Game 7 since 2016, when LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers toppled Stephen Curry's Golden State Warriors from the throne.

"We certainly didn't want them to be able to celebrate the title in our stadium," said Haliburton in a TV interview after the game. "Our backs were against the wall, but we responded. Now I have three more days to take care of my calf and then be ready."
