The WorldTour team previously known as Israel-Premier Tech will no longer exist in this form. From 2026, the team will compete under a Swiss license under the name NSN Cycling Team.
In a statement from the racing team, which will be based in Spain, it was announced that the entertainment company NSN (Never Say Never) had joined forces with the Geneva-based investment company Stoneweg to take over the structure of the WorldTour and development team before the start of the 2026 season.
Under the old name, there had been repeated pro-Palestinian protests against the team in recent months due to the Gaza war, particularly during the Tour of Spain, when the final stage even had to be abandoned due to safety concerns.
The departure of the previous Canadian-Israeli team owner Sylvan Adams marks the start of a new era for the project. According to media reports, the team is about to sign Biniam Girmay. The top sprinter from Eritrea was the first African to win the Tour de France points classification last year.
With its entry into professional cycling, the still young company NSN is further expanding its involvement in the global sports and entertainment sector. Founded just seven years ago, the provider has so far made a name for itself primarily with the organization of international football show matches. NSN also owns the football team Helsingör from the second highest Danish league and holds a majority stake in the Spanish gravel bike brand Guava. With the support of Stoneweg, NSN is now venturing into world cycling.
