Jan Christen and Stefan Bissegger are the Swiss aces at the Tour de Romandie from April 29 to May 4. The organizers have confirmed the participation of the riders from Aargau and Thurgau.

Jan Christen will join UAE Team Emirates together with Portuguese rider Joao Almeida to try and put their stamp on the loop through western Switzerland. They will challenge Remco Evenepoel, the two-time Olympic champion from Paris and third in the Tour de France 2024. It has been clear for some time that the Belgian, who crashed heavily in December, will line up as leader of the Soudal QuickStep team.
With the prologue in Saint-Imier and the final time trial in Geneva, Bissegger will also have two opportunities to showcase himself in the battle against the clock.
