Leaves China without having achieved anything: Jason Joseph
Keystone
Jason Joseph leaves the World Indoor Championships in Nanjing without competing. The Swiss record holder in the 60 m hurdles is suffering from a hardened muscle in his thigh.
The decision not to compete was primarily made with a view to the outdoor season. The Basel native does not want to take any risks after the pain worsened in China.
After an indoor season with highs and lows, Joseph has set himself high goals for the summer. On the one hand, he came close to his best performances at world-class level in the winter, but on the other, he was eliminated in the semi-finals of the European Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn without a sound.
