Jérémy Finello is returning home from the Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide for health reasons.

This means that only three Swiss athletes, Niklas Hartweg, Sebastian Stalder and Joscha Burkhalter, will take part in the individual competition on Wednesday. For the relay on Saturday, 21-year-old James Pacal, who is preparing for the Junior World Championships, will join the team.
Finello had finished 59th in the sprint and retired in the pursuit. After training on Tuesday, he decided in consultation with the coaching team not to take part in any further competitions.
