Swiss rider Jeremy Seewer (30) finished 6th and 16th at the start of the Motocross World Championship in Cordoba, Argentina, which is good enough for 7th place in the daily standings.
Seewer, who has already finished second in the top category (MXGP) of the world championship three times, was riding a Ducati for the first time. Ducati entered the Motocross World Championship for the first time this season.
Three Swiss riders took part in the MXGP races. Valentin Guillod rode to 5th place in the second race on his Yamaha. In the daily standings, Guillod finished 13th and Kevin Brumann 22nd.
