The Nashville Predators with Roman Josi also win their second game in a row against the San José Sharks and extend their winning streak to five games.
Two days after Nashville came back from a four-goal deficit to win at home against San José (7-5), the Predators won again in spectacular fashion away from home (6-5). They led 3:0 and 5:2, but it was Russian Fyodor Svechkov's goal on the power play in the 49th minute that decided the game.
Despite the good phase they are currently in, the Nashville Predators had shown themselves to be vulnerable in the middle third. They conceded three goals in less than three minutes and jeopardized the victory that seemed certain after Steven Stamkos' 5:2. Josi was involved in that powerplay goal with an assist.
Pius Suter was also credited with an assist and thus scored his first goal since December 21. The Zurich forward was involved in the Vancouver Canucks' 1:5 loss in Edmonton. The Canucks went down 6-2 to the hosts.
