Juan Ayuso wins stage 6 of the Tirreno-Adriatico and goes into Sunday's final stage as leader.

After 163 km in Frontignano, the Spaniard won by 13 seconds ahead of Britain's Thomas Pidcock and Australia's Jai Hindley. Marc Hirschi finished 33rd, a good two minutes behind.
The previous leader Filippo Ganna, who had worn the blue jersey of the overall leader since stage 1, lost 50 seconds to Ayuso on the final climb and dropped back to 3rd place overall. Ayuso goes into Sunday's final stage towards San Benedetto del Tronto with 37 and 38 seconds respectively over the two Italians Antonio Tiberi and Ganna.
