The 47-year-old rider from the Jura had to admit defeat only to Germany's Daniel Deusser in the World Cup show jumping competition with Dante MM, which carries prize money of 222,200 euros. Like Jufer, Deusser and Otello de Guldenboom remained clear in the jump-off with seven pairs, but completed the course almost eight tenths faster.
