Julie Zogg finishes 4th in the parallel slalom. In the World Cup competition in Bad Gastein, she loses to the eventual winner Lucia Dalmasso by 0.22 seconds in the semi-final.

Zogg was then beaten again in the small final, with Poland's Aleksandra Krol-Walas finishing 0.39 seconds ahead of her.
After a 2nd place in the parallel giant slalom in Mylin at the beginning of December, this 4th place is Zogg's best result of the season so far. She finished ninth in the first parallel slalom of the season in Davos.
The other Swiss women, Flurina Bätschi and Jessica Keiser, were eliminated in the round of 16. The men were also unsuccessful. Dario Caviezel was defeated by Cody Winters in the quarter-finals.
