Switzerland's Julie Zogg finishes 3rd in the parallel slalom. In the small final, the 32-year-old from St. Gallen beat Ester Ledecka, who had triumphed in the giant slalom the day before.
Two hundredths of a second decided in favor of Zogg, who had to settle for a podium finish in what was a difficult season for her last year. Now she started the first World Cup weekend in Mylin, China, with a success. Zogg's teammates Ladina Caviezel and Flurina Bätschi also failed in the round of 16, as did Dario Caviezel in the men's event. Austrian Sabine Payer won the women's event, while Italian Maurizio Bormolini won the men's event.
