At the Badminton Future Series tournament in Tacarigua on the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago, two members of the national squad made their debut. Julien Scheiwiller and Nicolas A. Müller were the first two Swiss players to face each other in a men's singles final at international level.

Scheiwiller, the 2024 and 2025 Swiss champion, won in two sets. Another Swiss player, Patrick Zbinden, also stood on the podium. The members of the Swiss national team once again proved their late-season form. Since September, Swiss athletes have claimed a total of 22 podium places at tournaments in the Future Series, International Series and International Challenge categories.
