13 hours after the 100m final, Mujinga Kambundji also qualifies for the semi-finals in the 200m.
The 32-year-old Mujinga from Bern also qualified for the semi-finals of the 200 m early this morning after the 100 m final. Kambundji finished 3rd in the 2nd series and was thus able to avoid the detour via the hope heats by three hundredths.
The semi-finals will take place on Monday evening. Kambundji wants to recover before this race.
Léonie Pointet, the second Swiss athlete, missed out on direct qualification for the semi-finals in a disappointing 23.42 seconds. She will have a second chance on Monday afternoon.
