The French-born teenager secured gold on the uneven bars, the only apparatus final to take place without Simone Biles.

Nemour won with 15.700 points ahead of Qiu Qiyuan (15.500) from China, who is the same age, and Sunisa Lee (14.800) from the USA. Belgium's Nina Derwael, Olympic champion on this apparatus three years ago in Tokyo, finished fourth without a medal.

Carlos Yulo from the Philippines doubled up in the men's event: After winning gold on the floor, the 24-year-old also won the vault title. On the rings, Liu Yang from China repeated his victory from Tokyo.

The last four apparatus finals will conclude the artistic gymnastics in Paris on Monday.
