The Vaud native Peier breaks Gregor Deschwanden's winning streak, who recently won gold at the Swiss Championships four times in a row. Peier, for his part, won the title four times in a row from 2016 to 2019.

Peier achieved the highest score in both rounds and finished 7.4 points ahead of Deschwanden with jumps of 106.5 and 108 m, who recorded jumps of 103.5 and 108 m. Juri Kessli secured bronze.

As in the past two years, Sina Arnet came out on top in the women's event. The Engelberg native clearly won ahead of Rea Kindlimann and Celina Wasser.

The elite title in the Nordic combined went to Finn Kempf (18). The son of Hippolyt Kempf, the 1988 Olympic champion in the Nordic combined in Calgary, won in the absence of Pascal Müller from Glarus, who finished 3rd overall in the combined summer Grand Prix in Chaux-Neuve.
