After the short program, Kimmy Repond was still in third place. In the free skate, the Swiss skater fell back to fourth place despite a strong performance - behind three Japanese skaters led by Kaori Sakamoto, the 2022, 2023 and 2024 world champion.
Nevertheless, Kimmy Repond, who came third in the 2023 European Championships and fifth in this year's World Championships, can be satisfied with her performance. The last Swiss woman to finish in the top three at a Grand Prix was Sarah Meier 17 years ago.
