The New York Knicks send out a sign of life in the NBA semi-final and catch up in the series. After two home defeats, they beat the Indiana Pacers 106:100 away from home.

The team from the "Big Apple" was 20 points behind at one stage, but refused to give in. The match-winner in Indiana was Karl-Anthony Towns, who the Knicks had only brought to New York before the season. The Dominican scored 20 of his 24 points during the comeback in the fourth quarter.

The performance was strongly reminiscent of the great performances in the second playoff round against the champions. There, New York had unnerved the Boston Celtics several times with late comebacks and ultimately prevailed in six games.

With the important away win against the Pacers, the Knicks avoided a 0:3 deficit in the series and can continue to hope for their first final appearance in 26 years.
