After five away games at the start of the NLA season, the Kriens-Lucerne handball team finally made their home debut on Saturday evening. They inaugurated the new Pilatus Arena with a hard-fought 38:36 win against Suhr Aarau.

The penultimate team in the table from Aargau still led 23:21 at half-time. However, the team from central Switzerland then managed to turn the game around. Jerome Müller and Marin Sipic were the main culprits with ten and nine goals respectively. Goalkeeper Kevin Bonnefoi also made twelve saves.
