9th place for Lena Häcki-Gross
Lena Häcki-Gross finished 9th in the pursuit start race at Holmenkollen near Oslo. The 30-year-old from Engelberg came from 29th on the start grid to finish in the top 10 and put in one of her best races of the season. Only once this season, in the sprint in Nove Mesto, has she finished higher up the rankings (in fifth place). Victory went to Hanna Oeberg, who took her fourth win of the season, the first with a shooting error.
Home victory for ski cross team
The Swiss ski cross mixed team celebrated a home victory at the Junior World Championships. Chiara von Moos and Celien Crettex secured the gold medal ahead of the teams from Canada and Germany. Moos and Crettex only managed 4th place in the qualifiers, with the other Swiss teams all being eliminated in the quarter-finals. Chiara von Moos won her second gold medal in her second start after winning the singles on Friday.
