Lian Bichsel was actively involved in Dallas' offensive festival in the NHL on Saturday. The 20-year-old defenseman recorded two assists in the Stars' 8-3 win in San Jose and finished the game with a +4 rating.
After two straight losses, Dallas was down 2-0 to the Sharks after just 2:46 minutes. The Stars led 3-2 in the 14th minute and 5-2 in the 36th minute.
Lian Bichsel, who was on the ice for almost 20 minutes, assisted on the 2-2 goal by Jason Robertson (11th) and the 8-3 goal by Jamie Benn (54th). He now has 5 points on his personal tally (in 16 NHL games), 3 of them since being recalled at the end of January.
Timo Meier, meanwhile, scored an assist for the Devils, who won 4-0 in Montreal on Saturday. New Jersey will still be without the injured Nico Hischier and Jonas Siegenthaler. Kevin Fiala, who scored 6 points in his previous three games, went scoreless in the Los Angeles Kings' 2-1 loss on penalties in Anaheim.
