The Swiss handball international Lukas Laube (25) is moving within the Bundesliga from Stuttgart to THW Kiel. Laube will be the first Swiss player to play for Kiel.
Laube received a two-year contract from THW Kiel. The career of the circle player, which began at Suhr Aarau and then led to Stuttgart via GC Amicitia in February 2023, continues to gather pace with the move to Kiel. THW Kiel is the record champion in the world's strongest league and is one of the strongest teams in the world.
"It's a great honor when a club like Kiel is interested in you," said Laube in THW Kiel's media release. "The club's goals and my personal goals are congruent."
Laube has played 39 games for the Swiss national team to date, scoring 86 goals.
