The two-time Italian world champion and team-mate of Marc Marquez, Francesco Bagnaia, completed the top three in the sprint over just ten laps (half the distance of Sunday's GP).
Marc Marquez, who will also start from pole position on Sunday, won for the third time in the third sprint of the season. The six-time world champion, who has had a competitive bike again this season with Ducati, leads the world championship standings with a maximum of 86 points.
