Marc Marquez is the first winner of the 2025 MotoGP season. The Spaniard wins the sprint race at the GP of Thailand ahead of his brother Alex Marquez.

Marc Marquez dominated the race in Buriram from start to finish in temperatures of up to 37 degrees. Co-favorite Francesco Bagnaia from Italy, Marquez's teammate, finished third.
"This is a perfect Saturday. I feel very good on the bike," said the six-time MotoGP World Champion, who will start Sunday's race from pole position. With his sprint victory, Marquez leads the overall standings for the first time since 2019.
Defending champion Jorge Martin from Spain missed the season opener in Thailand due to injury.
