Marc Wieser will end his career after this season. The 37-year-old HC Davos forward made the announcement on his club's social media channels on Wednesday.
The HCD veteran made his debut in the 2005-06 season in the then National League A. With the exception of a three-year stint in Biel, the Prättigau native has spent his entire career with the record champions.
Marc Wieser, who won four championships with the HCD and the Spengler Cup in 2023, has now played 991 games in Switzerland's top ice hockey league. He should therefore soon break the 1000 mark.
