The positions were already decided in the first of 13 laps. The world championship leader took the lead ahead of his brother and did not allow a single overtaking maneuver. He pulled away slightly on the first half of the track, but Alex Marquez was able to close the gap again by the finish straight. Behind the two Ducati riders, the Italian Marco Bezzecchi finished in third place on an Aprilia.
