In the second-to-last MotoGP race of the season in Portugal, Marco Bezzecchi celebrates a commanding start-finish victory. The Italian never comes under pressure during the 25 laps.
After finishing third in the sprint race on Saturday, Bezzecchi secured his second win of the season over the long distance on Sunday. Alex Marquez, the winner of the sprint race on Saturday, finished second and Pedro Acosta third.
Thanks to this first place, Bezzecchi is now 35 points ahead of his compatriot Francesco Bagnaia in third place in the World Championship ahead of the final race of the season. There are still 37 points up for grabs on the final race weekend.
