Mark Streit is stepping down from his role at SC Bern. He was a member of the Board of Directors for four years and is no longer standing for re-election, as the club announced in a statement.

The Bernese club was able to report positive news regarding its finances. For the first time since the end of the coronavirus pandemic, the 16-time champions generated a small profit of CHF 8,000 last season.

For the season starting on Tuesday, September 17, with the derby against the SCL Tigers, the new sports director Martin Plüss announced the playoff participation as a goal at the pre-season media conference.
