The Dutchwoman, who lives in the Basel region, did not allow the leader's jersey to be taken from her after her solo victory in the starting stage and thus celebrated a successful debut in the jersey of her new team FDJ-Suez. Vollering's compatriot Anna van der Breggen completed the podium. The 2018 and 2020 road world champion made her comeback in Spain three years after her retirement.
