Martin Fuchs narrowly missed victory with Conner Jei in the jump-off of the €500,000 Grand Prix at the Five-Star CSIO in La Baule.

The Zurich native was only beaten on the French Atlantic coast by Italian Piergiorgio Bucci riding Hantano.

Fuchs and Bucci were the only two of the seven riders to remain clear in the jump-off, but the Swiss rider completed the course 42 hundredths of a second slower.
