Michael Gwerder from Schwyz wins the start of the wreath festival season. At the Ob- und Nidwaldner Kantonalschwingfest in Hergiswil, the 26-year-old achieves his first wreath victory.

After five victories and one submission, Gwerder prevailed in the final round against local Christian Zemp in the eighth minute with a short and follow-up press on the ground. Lukas Bissig from Uri finished ahead of Zemp in 2nd place.
