
The Nashville Predators lose their home game against the Ottawa Senators 2:5 in the National Hockey League (NHL) and lose sight of the playoffs again.

"We ended up beating ourselves again," said Josi. Nashville took the lead, with Josi contributing the assist for 1-0, Nashville also had some good moments, but in the end the visitors prevailed 5-2 - after being tied 2-2 until the 47th minute.
Andrew Brunette, coach of the Nashville Predators, was "as disappointed as I've ever been with my team's performance" at the end. After a run of five wins, the Predators have lost five games in a row in the last nine days: 2:5 in Anaheim, 1:3 at home against Vancouver, 3:4 in Buffalo, 0:3 in Pittsburgh and now 2:5 against Ottawa. The gap to the last playoff spot has grown to 16 points again.
