The man from Schwyz explained on Instagram that after catching the flu last week in Östersund, he had picked up another viral infection. "That means I'm going into the Christmas break early and focusing on regeneration and building up towards the Olympic Games."
Hartweg, whose preparation for the season had already been less than ideal, will miss the races in Hochfilzen this weekend and in Le Grand Bornand a week later.
