Zurich judoka Nils Stump has triumphed at a Grand Slam tournament for the second time this year.
The 28-year-old won the final of the 73 kg category in Abu Dhabi against junior world champion Muhiddin Asadulloev from Tajikistan.
Stump celebrated his first of five Grand Slam tournament victories - the highest tournament level outside of the World Championships and Olympic Games - at the same venue three years ago.
In 2023, Stump was crowned the first Swiss judo world champion before his first-round exit at the Olympic Games in Paris a year later was a major disappointment.
