Jeremi Gerber will not receive a new contract with Fribourg-Gottéron and will have to leave the champions.

The 26-year-old Emmental native came to Fribourg from Lugano two years ago and played a key role in the club's first championship title.
Gerber recorded seven points in the playoffs and, most notably, scored the 2-1 goal in overtime in the sixth game of the final that made a Game 7 necessary.
