The slopestyle final of the male snowboarders will take place at the Freestyle World Championships in the Engadine on Friday without Swiss participation. Nicolas Huber from the Engadin by choice also fails to qualify.

Huber, after all a two-time World Championship medal winner, missed out on a place in the final in 13th place in his heat by 9.75 points. His teammates Elias Lehner, Jeremy Denda and Alex Lotorto missed out by even more.
Switzerland will be represented in the finals on Friday by Andrina Salis. The 19-year-old from Bern finished eighth in the women's event.
Due to bad weather forecasts for the weekend, the slopestyle finals will take place on Friday morning (from 9.00 a.m.) instead of Sunday as originally planned.
