On Tuesday night, the Swiss players in action suffered defeats. Kevin Fiala loses with the Los Angeles Kings, while Janis Moser and Tampa Bay see their winning streak snapped.

For the Kings, the 1:5 loss at the Chicago Blackhawks was their fourth defeat in a row. The visitors were only able to keep the game even in the first period. After that, the home team took control and pulled away with two goals in each period. Fiala, who celebrated his 200th career goal in the regular season two days ago, was without a goal and had a minus-2 record at the end of the game. Philipp Kurashev was absent for the Blackhawks due to a hand injury.

Despite the poor run, the Kings are still on course for the playoffs. For Chicago, on the other hand, the playoff spots are probably out of reach despite their second win in a row.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are well on course for the play-offs. The franchise with Switzerland's Janis Moser is in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, and the 2-1 defeat against the Florida Panthers - the first after eight wins in a row - did nothing to change that. Finland's Aleksander Barkov was the match-winner for the champions with two goals in the middle third. Moser was on the penalty bench for the hosts' second goal.
