Stan Wawrinka turned Viktorija Golubic down for a joint appearance in the mixed.

"At my age, that would simply be too much," explained the 39-year-old Wawrinka after his first-round victory at Wimbledon. He won Olympic gold in doubles with Roger Federer in Beijing in 2008, while Golubic won silver alongside Belinda Bencic in Tokyo three years ago.
