As Ticino's RSI television reported, the forward suffered a broken finger in the series against Ajoie.
"It's impossible to think about participating in the World Championship," said Thürkauf at an end-of-season event for the fans. The World Championship takes place from May 9 to 25 in Denmark and Sweden.
