Swiss Moto3 rider Noah Dettwiler will not be able to travel to the season opener in Thailand. The 19-year-old had to have an operation on his left hand on Friday, as reported by "Blick".

Dettwiler crashed during testing in Jerez. The surgeon in Barcelona fixed the fracture on Friday with a plate and screws, followed by the return trip to Switzerland on Saturday. The recovery time for the race in Thailand (March 2) is too short. At best, it will be enough for the GP of Argentina on March 16.
