Noemi Rüegg impresses at the start of the women's World Tour season in Australia.
The Zurich rider from the EF Education-Oatly team finished the second stage of the Tour Down Under in 2nd place over around 130 kilometers from Magill to Paracombe.
Rüegg had finished 4th in the first stage on Saturday. This puts her in 3rd place in the overall standings ahead of the final day of the Tour. Ally Wollaston and Josie Nelson are ahead of the 24-year-old.
Rüegg won the Tour Down Under in 2025 and celebrated her first overall victory in a tour.
