The four Swiss athletes who started finished 50th, 56th, 58th and 59th, with sprint specialists Valerio Grond and Janik Riebli finishing somewhat surprisingly ahead of Cyrill Fähndrich and Beda Klee, who were unable to build on their performances from Friday (Klee 17th, Fähndrich 20th).
