Three home victories in the four Tuesday games of the National League. These are particularly important in the battle for play-off chances for Genève-Servette and Biel.

With a 4-3 home win against the ZSC Lions at the expense of the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, EHC Biel improved to 10th place, which still entitles them to participate in the play-in. The Seelanders won against the Zurich team for the first time in eleven defeats.

Genève-Servette kept their chances of finishing in the top ten alive with a 5:2 win in the crisis duel against Lugano. The champions of the season before last overturned a 2-0 deficit and are now four points behind Biel. The Ticino side, on the other hand, slipped back to second-last place.

Rapperswil-Jona held their own against leaders Lausanne, but ultimately suffered their sixth defeat in the last seven games with a 2:4 loss.

Davos and Zug can almost certainly plan for the playoffs. The Grisons missed out on 3rd place behind Lausanne and the ZSC Lions with a 4:5 defeat on penalties against the Central Swiss team. Davos squandered a two-goal lead in the last three minutes.
