The Norwegian Laegreid won the pursuit from second place at the season finale on the Holmenkollen in Oslo on Saturday, mainly thanks to a flawless shooting performance. His compatriot Johannes Thingnes Bö dropped back to second place due to three misses at the shooting range and therefore also had to hand over the crown to Laegreid. Sebastian Stalder was the only Swiss to finish in 52nd place, Niklas Hartweg did not compete due to illness.
