After 19 seasons in the National League, Pascal Berger will end his career as a professional ice hockey player at the end of the season. This was announced by the SCL Tigers on their website.

Pascal Berger made his debut in the top Swiss league in the fall of 2006 with SC Bern, for whom he played the following ten seasons. After winning his third championship title with SCB, the Burgdorf native, who will turn 36 in March, accepted a new challenge in the summer of 2016 and joined the SCL Tigers. He led the Langnau team to the playoffs as captain in 2019.

Berger, who played over 900 games in the National League (formerly NLA), is currently back on course for the playoffs with the Tigers. Six rounds before the end of the qualifying round, the Emmentalers are in 8th place, which would entitle them to participate in the play-in.
