Sébastien Buemi finishes the Formula E season in 4th place, while Pascal Wehrlein secures the world championship title in London.
The battle for the Formula E world championship title came down to the very last race. At the season finale in London, Pascal Wehrlein had put himself in pole position for his first world championship title by winning the first race on Saturday. In the second race on Sunday, second place behind Britain's Oliver Rowland was enough for the German to finally secure the title.
The two New Zealanders Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy were the only drivers who could have caught Wehrlein in the final race. While Evans finished third, Cassidy retired.
Meanwhile, Sébastien Buemi finished the season in fourth place. The day before, the Vaud native had finished third on the podium for the second time.
Nico Müller finished the season in seventh place, while Edoardo Mortara retired.
