With forward Michael Raffl and defenseman Lawrence Pilut, two foreigners are leaving the playoff finalists Lausanne HC.
A few days after losing the playoff final, Lausanne HC has announced further roster changes for the upcoming season. In addition to the already known departures of Andrea Glauser (to Fribourg-Gottéron), Lukas Frick (Davos), Tim Bozon (Geneva-Servette) and the retirement of captain Joël Genazzi, the expiring contracts of Michael Raffl and Lawrence Pilut will not be extended.
The 36-year-old Austrian Raffl played for the Vaud team for three seasons and was injured in the playoff final. Swedish defenseman Pilut, who is seven years younger, missed the entire season due to a torn Achilles tendon after having been one of the top performers in the previous season.
