The podium classification in Val di Fassa looks familiar: Just like at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, Ryan Regez wins ahead of Alex Fiva.

For the 32-year-old Regez, it was his first World Cup victory in three years, when he won two races in a row in Idre Fjäll, Sweden. Since then, the Olympic champion had never stood on the World Cup podium again. His best result this season was three 6th places.

The season has gone better so far for Alex Fiva, who won in Val Thorens and finished in 2nd place in San Candido. The 39-year-old is now on the podium for the third time this winter and the 37th time in total.

Fanny Smith missed out on this in the women's event, only finishing third in her semi-final. While three Canadians and a Frenchwoman contested the final, the 32-year-old Swiss skier came out on top in the small final and finished fifth. The victory went to Marielle Thompson.
