At the beginning of October, the Bern skating club won at home against Langnau (2:1) and Zug (3:0). Almost two months later, they beat the ZSC Lions (2:1) and now Biel.

Bern made a furious start to the game. After eight minutes and 8:1 shots on goal, the home team led 2:0 thanks to goals from Romain Loeffel and Miro Aaltonen, both of whom scored for only the second time this season.

However, things did not continue so comfortably for the SCB. In the end, Biel shot significantly more on goal than the Bernese. However, Biel were unable to score more than two goals. Bern's junior Alain Graf (20) scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 3:1. In the final period, Biel took goalie Harri Säteri off the ice for an extra forward four minutes before the end. This gave Bern a comfortable victory.

For the first time since November 14, Bern moved up from 13th place (at the expense of Kloten).
