Fabienne Schlumpf impresses in her first marathon since November 2024. The Zurich native finished second in Geneva in 2:31:15 hours.
Schlumpf was only beaten by the Kenyan winner Patience Kimutai (2:30:45). The Swiss record holder (2:24:30) wants to run her next marathon at the European Championships in Birmingham in August.
In her last marathon, Schlumpf finished a strong 5th in an international field in New York around one and a half years ago.
