Silvan Dillier will contest his fifth Tour de France. As expected, the rider from Aargau is in the line-up of the Alpecin-Deceuninck team for the 111th Tour of France starting in Florence on Saturday.
The eight-man Belgian team will be led by Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel and Belgian top sprinter Jasper Philipsen, both of whom are in the hunt for stage wins.
Dillier is the third Swiss rider to be called up for this year's Tour de France after Stefan Küng (Groupama-FDJ) and Stefan Bissegger (EF Education-Easy Post) from Thurgau.
